The Boothbay Harbor Fest schedule is always packed with fun events focused on food, fashion, art and entertainment. The 2017 Harbor Fest schedule runs from September 1st through September 10th. Food lovers will enjoy participating in the three day ‘Taste of Local Flavor’ event where, with a $15 ‘passport,’ they’re able to journey to 12 regional restaurants and experience unique music, local dishes and downeast ambiance, including tastings held on decks and docks as well as in pubs art galleries and breweries. Friday, September 1st
The ‘Taste of Local Flavor’ event kicks off with a food tasting and live music at The Mystic Mermaid from 4-7pm. Click here to buy a passport to the 2017 Taste of Local Flavor event at the Boothbay Harborfest.
Saturday, September 2nd
The ‘Taste of Local Flavor’ event continues, with the following food tasting and live music schedule:
12-2pm – Fisherman’s Wharf Inn
1-3pm – McSeagulls
2-4pm – Tugboat Inn and Restaurant and Capers Deli
3-5pm – Harborside Tavern
4-6pm – Whales Tale at Carousel Marina and Boothbay Harbor Inn
6-8pm – Boothbay Lobster Wharf
7-9pm – Pier One Pizza and Pub
9-10pm – Mine Oyster
Sunday, September 3rd
8:00 a.m. – The 5k trail run and half marathon will kick off from Sherman Field in Boothbay Harbor. There is a new course for the half marathon this year, which will offer runners miles of water views, including inner harbor, open ocean, lakes and tidal rivers as well as taking runners over two islands and a historic footbridge. There will also be a wellness fair, with yoga, music, massage and healthy treats at the start and end of the race. There is free admission to the wellness fair and all are welcome.
Passport holders will also be able to enjoy the final ‘Taste of Local Flavor’ events, with the following food and music schedule:

1-3pm – Thistle Inn
2-4pm – Boothbay Lobster Wharf
3-5pm – Whales Tale at Carousel Marina
4-6pm – Cod’s Head Fish House and BBQ
Monday, September 4th – Sunday, September 10th
Art sales and receptions will be taking place at various locations as well as a painting invitational. There is an artists welcome reception at the Boat Barn gallery on Monday from 5-7pm,
Restaurant theme week will also be taking place from the 4th through the 8th.
Saturday, September 9th
The annual ‘Fishing for Fashion’ design challenge will take place at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Gold Resort from 2-4pm. This unique fashion show enables guests to lounge on a sea deck, sipping cocktails and nibbling on fine food before witnessing a lobster boat pull up and models unboard onto a lobster dock runway. All the designs in this fashion show are inspired by the coast and made with marine materials, by talented local designers. The fashion show costs $25 and sells out every year. Sunday, September 10th
An art show and reception will be the closing proceedings of the Boothbay Harbor Fest schedule, taking place at Capers Deli at 11am.

Hello, where do you purchase the taste the local Flavors passport? We will only be day tripping to your festival . Can You recommend which day is better to visit? Saturday or sunday? Is the passport for 1 or 3 days?

Nice to hear from you. I’ve now updated the post to include a link to where you buy passports for the Taste of Local Flavor event. I personally would go on Saturday as there are more tasting events on that day. The website unfortunately doesn’t offer a ‘one day’ passport option. I hope you enjoy Boothbay Harbor Fest.
