I attended the Jonesport-Beals festivities this year. Living in Central/ Western Maine my whole life, I know better than to go anywhere near the coastal hotspots during tourist season (ahem, Bar Harbor). However, Jonesport is the perfect small town, but with the ocean right next to it. I would definitely go back!
