As of this Friday, my feet will be planted firmly on Maine soil. I’ll be staying in Maine for almost a month, enjoying the salty sea air, beautiful views of Cutler’s coastline and, of course, lots of fresh lobster. During my trip, I’ll also be doing book readings and signings up and down the coast. Below are the details as they stand now (some are still a bit TBC):
- MAINE LOBSTER FESTIVAL: I will be doing a book signing on Saturday August 4th, 2012, from 12-4pm in the Marine Tent.
- WINTER HARBOR LOBSTER FESTIVAL: Book signing on Saturday August 11th, 2012, from 11-3pm near the lobster dinner venue.
- MACHIAS BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL: Book signing on Saturday August 18th, 2012 at UMM at the George Simpson Murdock Bookstore.
- Maine Maritime Museum: Children’s talk on lobster fishing and book signing on Monday August 20th, 2012.
I will attempt to update this post as and when the final details are sorted. I look forward to perhaps meeting one or two of you during my travels!
