Barnacle Billys in Ogunquit, Maine is a few steps above the classic, no-frills lobster shack. It has extensive indoor seating along with sundeck seating overlooking idyllic Perkins Cove and it’s hand-cranked wooden drawbridge.
Barnacle Billys menu includes boiled lobster, sautéed lobster, lobster rolls and lobster stew as well as fried seafood dinners, bacon-wrapped scallops, clam chowder and more. You can wash it all down with wine, beer or Barnacle Billy’s special rum punch. While their lobster roll is by no means famous (I’ve read their portions are a bit on the small side) the Ogunquit ambiance and menu selection make Barnacle Billys well worth the trip. You can even check out their live webcam overlooking Perkins Cove on their website.
